Thriving in the center of attention

As part of a global movement the Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL) fosters regenerative economies and way of life.

In 2017 Kate Raworth’s book "The Doughnut Economy" was published, in which she describes an economy for the 21st century. She identifies a safe and just space for humankind to live in. This space lays within the natural planetary boundaries of mother earth on one hand and a necessary socially just foundation for human life on the other.

Founded in 2019, we have joined forces with other founders to support the work of the Doughnut Economics Action Lab in developing practical guidance and tools for implementing doughnut economy design principles in six different areas. As part of a global movement, we want to strengthen the way we think and act in terms of shaping our economy, value creation, and life in the 21st century.
